Art Epoxy Designs was hired by Catch & Cut, a new restaurant opening on Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. As a high-end dining destination, the restaurant needed a kitchen floor that was seamless, durable, non-slip, and compliant with commercial food service standards. The goal was to install a quartz epoxy system that could handle heavy traffic while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

Day 1: Surface Preparation & Base Coats
The existing surface was thoroughly prepped, and two coats of moisture vapor barrier epoxy were applied to protect against moisture and ensure long-term performance.
Day 2: Quartz Broadcast
Matrix quartz was broadcast in two layers, creating a textured, slip-resistant surface ideal for commercial kitchen environments.
Day 3: Final Sealing
A polyaspartic clear coat was applied to seal the system, delivering chemical resistance, easy maintenance, and a seamless finish.
The kitchen now features a durable, hygienic, and slip-resistant quartz epoxy floor built to handle the demands of a busy restaurant. The finished surface enhances safety, simplifies cleaning, and supports the daily operations of Catch & Cut.
